Q: What iPhone models are supported?
A: First generation as well as second generation (3G) iPhone. Requires OS version 2.1 or better.
Q: Does the program run on iPod touch?
A: Yes. On the iPod touch the program needs a WiFi connection, and OS version 2.1 or better.
Q: Will the application continue to get data from the server if the device is in sleep mode (black screen)?
A: It will stop getting new data, except when the device is connected to a power source. This is done to save battery power. As soon as you activate the device, the program reconnects and updates its screens with the latest data.
Q: Is the password stored in a secure way?
A: Yes, the program uses the operating system “keychain” feature for that purpose.

A: The program will show an alert, and automatically tries to reconnect. As soon as a network is detected again, the server will come on line.
Q: What happens if a receive a phone call while the application runs?
A: The Risk Monitor application stops when you accept the call. After the call has ended, the Risk Monitor is activated again and continues where it left off, showing the same (probably updated) screen.
Q: Is there a way to find out the application version number?
A: On the main screen, click the “Object+” button at the top left.

A: No; the iPhone application is intended for browsing and monitoring of positions only.
Q: What happens if the user ID or password are changed at the server side?
A: If the application cannot log in because the credentials are rejected, it shows the login screen. The user name and password you provide are saved, and will be used the next time the application logs in.
Q: When browsing through historic data, how far can I go back in time?
A: That depends on the data retention period at the server side. At the iPhone client side there is no practical limit.
